What is assemblage?

as-sem-blage
(a sem'blij) french n. Fine art. a. A sculptural technique of
organizing or composing into a unified whole a group of unrelated and often
fragmentary or discarded objects.
b. A work of art produced by this technique.

I create unique nature and garden themed art work using faux painting
techniques, collage with my own photographs, collected papers and ephemera,
then embellish with found objects such as beads, buttons and old jewelry and
add words and quotations to emphasize the piece. I pay very close attention to
details ensuring each piece has the charm and personality it deserves.
